Hi, Jarek here 👋
Next Thursday... next newsletter!
📚 Hiring Mobile Devs
In Q1 2024 I helped my client hire new Android developer for the mobile team. In this series I share as much possible (without breaking confidentiality agreement) about the process.
- Part 1 (vision)
- Part 2 (job ad)
- Part 3 (interview)
If you're currently hiring someone, this may give you some perspective. And if you're looking for a job... this may give you insights how it works from a hiring manager perspective.

🛠️ your designs, faster
Recently I've been playing with yet another generative AI tool. Let me present you: Galileo.
With Galileo you can describe your design with a prompt (text to design) or with drawing (image to design). You get UI mockups that you can export to Figma.
You can try Galileo with free tier (not sponsored)

🎥 Practical guide to writing idiomatic Kotlin code
I had an opportunity to share few thoughts at Mobile Warsaw meetup. Deep dive into Kotlin idioms and learn when your code is idiomatic, and when it's actually idiotic.

What's new?
1. Yesterday we had another AndroidPro mastermind session. Those sessions are closed events – only for AP members and Android Architect students. These are my favorite part about the whole community and course ecosystem :)
2. Since last week I got 7 leads and 2 clients for mobile app audit. Agency is growing 🔥. Next offer I'd like to test is custom app development with Compose Multiplatform..
Wish you Happy Thursday
Best,
Jarek
